Safety Certified Audits
OHES is an approved audit provider with the WCB. Safety Certified accreditation is issued to companies who have passed an independent audit of their health and safety management systems. Workplaces are measured across 22 elements including management commitment, training, inspections, hazard assessments, safe work practices and procedures. Being WCB Safety Certified shows you have an effective system in place to prevent worker injury.
Even though we meet or exceed recognized standards and back that up with Errors and Omissions insurance, we do not rest until we have done everything possible to allay any fears that our clients may have regarding our abilities. Thus, we are also ISO 9001/ 2015 Registered. This certification is, again, assurance that our services meet an internationally recognized standard for quality systems and processes.

Health & Safety Development Program
We can build your health and safety program as defined by law/and the 22 elements the Workers Compensation Board of Nova Scotia from beginning to end. We will provide onsite leadership and training to your staff and health and safety committee representative. You will be provided with a binder that includes your company policy, procedures, practices, job hazard analysis, accident investigation policy and your workplace inspection protocol etc.
