Fall Protection/Fall Arrest Training
This course is for all workers, supervisors or health and safety committee members who are involved in working with heights. The course will provide understanding of required legislation, the difference between fall protection and fall arrest, the use of fall arrest equipment, and assessing the degree of risk and implementing control measures. This course is a must for anyone looking for a start or expanding in the health & safety field. The course covers Day 1 : Due Diligence, NS Act & Regulations and how to interpret them, Canada Labour Code, safety program elements, health & safety committees, safety representative and manager/supervisor roles and responsibilities. Day 2: Job Hazard Analysis, Workplace Inspections, Accident/Incident Investigation and PPE. This course is for companies or individuals looking to be a WHMIS 2015 instructor/trainer.
